Meet Robert Moul

Robert has called the Lowcountry home since 2007, moving from Erie Pennsylvania in the middle of a blizzard with his car packed with everything he owned. Coming from a place that had 2 seasons: Winter and August, Robert fell in love with the incredible year round weather and beauty the Lowcountry has to offer.

Robert received his B.A. from Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pennsylvania in Intelligence Studies, a degree with a focus on research, analysis and history. He attributes his success in real estate to his ability to research the market and better understand the past and today’s market to help his sellers and buyers. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his son Robbie and his beautiful wife Sandra from Colombia, South America, whom he married in 2012 with a romantic ceremony at the Waterside Chapel on the May River followed by an exquisite reception in the grand ballroom of the River House at Palmetto Bluff, one of his favorite communities.

In 2021, Robert decided to officially open his own Brokerage – Moul, REALTORS® with an office in downtown Bluffton. Future expansion plans include an office in Hilton Head and Beaufort, but he currently covers those areas as well.

Before opening his own brokerage, Robert was one of the top producing real estate agents in the country at his previous brokerage earning the prestigious & highest level Chairman’s Club Award in 2020 & 2019 for his sales production and earning the title of the #5 Agent Nationwide out of 6700+ in 2019. Previously, Robert also received the President’s Cup Award for his sales production in 2016, 2017 and 2018, achieving top 1% of agents nationwide. In 2018, Robert earned his Broker license for the state of South Carolina. In 2017, Robert was the Top Selling Agent By Volume (Buyers) for the entire Southeastern Region. For his sales production in 2015, Robert earned the Ambassador’s Cup Award and was named Rookie of the Year for the entire Southeastern Broker Council.

With a degree in Intelligence Studies, Robert studied to work for the federal government as an intelligence analyst. His focus was on research and analysis, the ability to use his research skills to uncover information and then analyze it to his benefit. Understanding the real estate market relies heavily on the ability to research the past and present to uncover and analyze trends predicting the future. Robert’s unique background in research and analysis combined with his sales knowledge and experience sets him apart from the competition.

Negotiation Skills

Many agents lack one of the most important skills in real estate, the ability to negotiate. Before real estate, Robert worked in retail for many years as a sales manager and understands the power of negotiation. He joined the exclusive Million Dollar Sales Club for closing over $1 Million in sales in one year. Now he sells over a million in real estate each quarter! Closing deals is his specialty. Real estate school doesn’t teach you the art of negotiating. Agents who have “true tested” selling methods may be leaving dollars for you on the table when you list your home with them. Growing up with computers and technology, Robert founded his own website design and development company at age 13. As new technology emerges and creates new marketing avenues, Robert is on top of the changes. Marketing a property takes more than just listing on the MLS. Have you ever visited a real estate agent’s website and it looks like it hasn’t been updated in years? More and more agents are falling behind the technology curve. Technology changes daily, and you need someone that is up to speed with all the latest marketing ideas.

Taking his education to the next level, Robert completed the necessary training to become a Broker in 2018. He still works with buyers and sellers but with a higher level of understanding and education.

MRP – Military Relocation Professional

With Military Bases in the area, MCAS Beaufort (Marine Corps Air Station), The Naval Hospital and Parris Island Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Robert has been certified by the National Association of Realtors as an MRP.
