Robert Moul is a trusted real estate expert serving Bluffton, Beaufort, and Hilton Head Island in South Carolina’s Lowcountry. Living in Erie, Pennsylvania, Robert relocated to the Lowcountry in 2007—arriving in the middle of a blizzard with everything he owned packed into his car. Coming from a place known for “two seasons: winter and August,” he quickly fell in love with the Lowcountry’s year-round beauty, lifestyle, and sense of community—and has proudly called it home ever since.

Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mercyhurst College in Intelligence Studies, with a strong focus on research, analysis, and history. That background directly shapes his approach to real estate. He studies market trends, understands historical context, and applies data-driven insights to help clients make confident, well-informed decisions in any market.

Outside of real estate, Robert enjoys spending time with his sons Robbie & Henry and his wife, Sandra, who is from Colombia, South America. They were married in 2012 in a memorable ceremony at the Waterside Chapel on the May River, followed by a celebration at the River House at Palmetto Bluff —one of Robert’s favorite Lowcountry communities.

Robert began his real estate career in 2014 with a nationally franchised brokerage, where he immersed himself in learning from the company’s top producers. While many agents reserved weekends for the beach or the boat, Robert built his business through open houses—meeting buyers and sellers face-to-face and earning trust the old-fashioned way.

That work ethic paid off quickly. He rose to become the #2 agent in his franchise out of more than 135 agents and ranked #5 nationwide out of over 6,700 agents—placing him among the top-producing real estate professionals in the country for that brokerage.

With momentum on his side, Robert knew it was time to build something of his own. In 2021—at the height of the pandemic—he launched Moul, REALTORS®, opening the brokerage’s first office in historic downtown Bluffton. While the timing may have seemed unconventional, Robert believed in his vision and committed fully to its success.

Today, Moul, REALTORS® serves Bluffton, Hilton Head Island, Beaufort, Okatie, Hardeeville and Ridgeland with future expansion plans already in place. Robert focuses heavily on recruiting, training, and mentoring agents with a clear goal: to help them grow strong, sustainable businesses and build long-term wealth together.

Research and Analysis

With a degree in Intelligence Studies, Robert studied to work for the federal government as an intelligence analyst. His focus was on research and analysis, the ability to use his research skills to uncover information and then analyze it to his benefit. Understanding the real estate market relies heavily on the ability to research the past and present to uncover and analyze trends predicting the future. Robert’s unique background in research and analysis combined with his sales knowledge and experience sets him apart from the competition.

Before real estate, Robert worked in retail for many years as a sales manager and understands the power of negotiation. He joined the exclusive Million Dollar Sales Club for closing over $1 Million in sales in one year. Now he sells over $6M in real estate each quarter! Closing deals is his specialty. Real estate school doesn’t teach you the art of negotiating. Agents who have “true tested” selling methods may be leaving dollars for you on the table when you list your home with them. It takes new and innovative tactics to get the most out of your home. And you need someone that is willing to take risks to get you that money. It’s easy for an agent to stay in their comfort zone, especially one that has been in real estate for many years. They get used to their “usual” methods to sell a home at the “usual” market prices. Robert will negotiate the best possible deal no matter what it takes.

Insight Driven Technology and Marketing

Growing up with computers and technology, Robert founded his own website design and development company at age 13. As new technology emerges and creates new marketing avenues, Robert is on top of the changes. Marketing a property takes more than just listing on the MLS.
